Day 4

Hi all-
More days of internet issues...so weird. I am at the internet cafe, but not on my laptop, so pictures will have to come later.

Will is doing really well. He was very active today, squirmy and squeaky. He can sit and crawl and even pull himself up if he really tries. I can tell he is warming up to us already. I think all babies love Dave faster than me since he speaks their language and has no problem making funny faces and noises!

Will is in a different room than Katie was. They progress them through the rooms as they get older and more active. There are SO many parents visiting their babies in Will's room. There are FIVE currently, and two other babies are just waiting for their new folks to come back and get them in a week or so. Of the five sets of parents, three of us were here at the exact same time for a prior adoption - one couple from France and a single mom from NJ. What are the odds of that? There is another couple from NY and one from Belgium too. All of those adults crowded in a hot room that doesn't smell so great. Oh well...

All is fine with us. The weather has been beautiful, about 52 today. Dave even found ESPN America station that had the Yankees game on this AM, some was dubbed in Russian, but you could still hear the English. Sounded like, "meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, FOUL BALL," it was really funny. Maybe he can catch some football next week.

It is so nice to bond with Will, but I honestly just want to put him in the backpack and get him out of there! And selfishly, I want to get back to my best girl and my clean house (which seems like the Ritz in comparison to our apartment). I am Xing off the days and trying to enjoy our time here. AND it sounds like Katie is having the time of her life!
